How much is the Summer program?

» $145 (WFBA students will receive a $20 discount.)

Top

Is it co-ed?

» No. The Summer volleyball program is open to girls only.

Top

What's included in the registration fee?

» Access to all sessions (including training & matches), and a shirt. Players are required to provide shorts, socks, shoes, and knee pads.

Top

What am I required to provide in addition to the registration fee?

» Shorts, socks, shoes, and knee pads.

Top

What types of training do you cover?

» We start at ground zero. There is no assumption made that your daughter knows anything about volleyball. We will teach the basics of serving, passing, setting, and basic team rotation.

Top

How do the match & skills demonstration dates work?

» After 4 weeks of training, we will transition into demonstrating the skills they've learned, followed by a practice match. About half of the session consists of serving to spots, passing to spots, and setting. The other half of the session is a practice match.

Top

Are there scores for practice matches and what's the format?

» We will not keep scores for practice matches. After the skills demonstration drills, the girls will play for the remainder of the session.

Top

What rules do you use?

» We will use regular Florida high school rules with several modifications for youth such as, lowering the net, allowing the girls to serve from a shorter distance, and only stopping play for a ball that hits the floor (more than 3 touches ok, will not call double touches).
